Canadian beauty company Lise Watier Cosmétiques has selected Rexam fragrance pumps and invisible dip tube for its newest fragrance, Désirable. Rexam’s high-performance, super low profile (SLPP) fragrance pumps, which in addition to a sophisticated profile, have excellent pre-compression that allows subtle and accurate spraying. The invisible dip tube combines high-function with beauty.

For the new additions to its Olay Regenerist line, Procter & Gamble turned to SeaquistPerfect Dispensing. The eye makeup remover features the Flamingo Lotion pump with
a smooth black closure to match the bottle and a black translucent actuator. The deep hydrating cleanser and the reversal treatment foam are housed in an aerosol package using the VX valve and S30 actuator. The reversal treatment foam package also features a mirrored finish.

Cortegra, a Fairfield, NJ provider of packaging solutions, has added Braille-embossed cartons and labels in compliance with impending European Union legislation mandating that secondary drug packaging must have label information in Braille for sight-impaired customers. Using special tooling, Cortegra embosses the Braille in an uncontracted Braille system, which means the words are spelled out, instead of in a contracted or chain system, in which one character can represent an entire word. By using patented one-piece snap-on hinged caps from Stropol, manufacturers can use a standard preform to blow a custom bottle in-house, right next to the filling machine, saving on material costs, storage space and internal logistics. On the packaging line the cap simply snaps onto the standard neck-form, making an excellent leak-proof seal. The range currently includes six different hinged caps weighing between 5.5 and 9.5 grams.
