Liquid Keratin Taps Fusion Packaging for New Line

Canadian firm Liquid Keratin selected Fusion Packaging of Dallas, TX to design and supply the packaging for its new line of hair care products.Fusion Packaging used stock design from a domestic bottle manufacturer and extended the line with custom molds that were manufactured domestically and at Fusion’s facility in China. QSLD Designs Bottle for New Perry Ellis for Women

Falic Fashion Group (FFG), the license holder for Perry Ellis perfumes and beauty products, tapped French designer Denis Boudard of QSLD to create the bottle for new Perry Ellis for Women. The bottle design—developed and finalized with the FFG team—plays with elegance, pleasure and lightness to reflect an innovative, modern classic with a twist inspired by flirting with life, according to QSLD. Made from crystal acrylic, the square cap shows the same complex combination of curvy lines as the wooden one seen on the men’s fragrance. According to Mr. Boudard, the result is “a timeless look based on a unique and simple structural bottle with soft faceting, all dressed up with a pearl embellishment around its golden collar. A see-through cap reveals a metal gold neck and actuator that gives the product the necessary brilliance that discreetly signals a certain status of exuberance.”

Zorbit Executes Packaging for Memoir-Inspired Fragrance

This month, GoodTrueBeautful, Inc., a new company founded by author Beth Nonte Russell, unveils Forever Lilly, a new scent inspired by Ms. Russell’s book of the same name. Ms. Russell enlisted Zorbit Resources to create, design and manufacture the packaging. The Bormioli Rocco bottle is topped with a clear Surlyn cap that was designed, engineered and manufactured by Zorbit. The secondary packaging is a round hinged, wardrobe-style box. Inside, the bottle is displayed on a pedestal. Zorbit engineered the mechanism on the box so that the top support is not visible when the box is open.

Art of Beauty Picks PETG Shrink Film from Ameri-Seal

Art of Beauty recently enlisted Ameri-Seal to print PETG sleeves for its Zoom Dry Callus Action 2- and 4oz bottles. Ameri-Seal printed the sleeves on rotogravure presses, in four color, including a black area at the top of the sleeve to look like the cap of the bottle. Since the top of the bottle narrows drastically, PETG labels were the perfect choice; they have a higher shrink percentage than traditional PVC film, according to Ameri-Seal.
