Shiseido: Tosio Negami

● Shiseido: Tosio Negami, former deputy
general manager of corporate planning
and a 22-year company veteran, has
been promoted to chairman and chief
executive officer of Shiseido Cosmetics
(America) Ltd. Mr. Negami will be
responsible for directing the Shiseido
business in the U.S., with a focus on a
strong American presence, and promoting
prestige brand Clé de Peau Beauté.
He succeeds Hiroshi Maruyama, who
will assume the role of deputy general
manager of salon business planning,
professional business operations,
Shiseido Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan
