Actives for Hair and Skin from Active Organics

April 22, 2010

Novel materials provide new benefits to personal care products.

Active Organics has introduced ActiSea H2O for use in hair care products. It is a combination of concentrated Japanese Green Tea polyphenols, aloe vera and sea kelp to hydrate hair and protect it from UV and oxidative stress. It is a good addition to shampoos and conditioners.

Actiphyte Ultras is a new line of standardized natural products for skin care. The first product in the line, Actiberry, has several benefits: It reduces DNA damage from oxidative stress; protects cellular membranes from chemical and physical damage; reduces visible redness and irritation; and protects the skin’s appearance against environmental damage and stress.
