Aldi’s Washing Liquid Scores Well in UK

January 30, 2013

Aldi’s Magnum topped a recent Which? Test.
UNITED KINGDOM: Aldi’s private label washing liquid Magnum is a consumer favorite, and has since netted the top spot from consumer watchdog group Which?, beating out the UK’s best seller, Fairy. Prior to 2011, Fairy had topped every washing up liquid test since the magazine first started testing it in 1965.

“Last year we were delighted to come first in the Which? test, but to do so two years in a row is fantastic news. This win confirms that shoppers can trust in Aldi’s cleaning power,” said Tony Baines, managing director of buying, Aldi Stores UK.

Aldi’s Magnum Premium Eucalyptus Antibacterial scored a 79% in the Which? tests and was also awarded Best Buy status.
