Key ingredients include silica, which provides a silky shadow that glides on smoothly and blends easily; as well as nylon 12, which facilitates the color to adhere to the eye. Happi suggests the green or aqua for the lid, crème for the browbone and purple to layer over a black or navy eyeliner (not included). The packaging features an 1980s art deco image of a model wearing the hues and the brand’s Cargo logo overlapping at the bottom. A mirror insert aids in makeup application on the go—however, there’s no brush applicator in the kit. But it is Los Angeles, where every starlet has her own personal makeup artist at hand.
The palette also appears in Cargo’s new Pro Picks Collection ($39) exclusively at Ulta (www.ulta.com), which also includes a nude lip liner, black mascara and classic lipgloss with Timestrip Technology to keep it fresh.
