LA Fresh Nail Wipes Make The Grade

May 24, 2012

I’m a little skeptical about nail polish remover wipes. I think of those sponge dip products from the 1980s where if you’re wearing a fuchsia or red polish the sponge turns that color and stains your fingers. However, modern times call for modern products, and LA Fresh’s Nail Polish Remover Wipes ($9.99 for 18 packets) not only feature the latest technology but also are eco-friendly to boot, since they are 100% biodegradable.

The acetone-free pads, said to quickly clean and condition all 10 nails with just one wipe, moisturize with aloe, glycerin and vitamin E too. The fibers are thick and yes, you can really remove even the most stubborn blue with a glitter topcoat with one pad. And the scent is quite subtle and indeed “fresh”—Tuscan orange. A+!
