John Masters Features Cooling Lip Balm

Lemon-line flavor adds a hint of zest for summertime.

John Masters Organics is touted as a creator of the “luxury organic” segment. From his humble beginnings mixing organic essential oils and herbs in his kitchen sink, to the more than 30 luxury organic products carried around the world, John Masters continues his 15-year labor of love as a leader and innovator in the beauty care industry. All ingredients and products must meet John’s strict guidelines, including but not limited to: all products must be 75-100% organic, no petroleum based or non-carbon based ingredients are allowed. Here in New Jersey, locally his products are sold at outposts like Vitamin Shoppe and Whole Foods.
The brand's recent innovation is a citrus-fueled lip care product, Lip Calm ($6). Soothing, moisturizing and invigorating, it is made with 10 certified-organic ingredients, including:  lemon and lime extract, tangerine extract, olive oil, jojoba oil and borage oil. The feel is smooth and light, while the flavor leans more toward “lemon lime” than “tangerine” so it’s cooling. The packaging design is modern with simple print on white, with “Lip Calm” in a larger font with the token “USDA Organic” popping out in green.
