The clocks have just moved forward, and as seasonal product slowly rolls out in stores, all signs point to warmer temperatures and flowers blooming. With that, collections become more colorful for Spring 2015. For example, Sonia Kashuk surprises the mass market with the first capsule collection of luxe, limited-edition cosmetics.
Inspired by the Saharan sunset, which the makeup guru experienced while recently visiting Morocco, the line includes shades of warm gold, wearable nudes and sun-kissed corals. The formulas are beautifully cased in terracotta and gold embellished packaging.
Available March 2015 at Target, the collection features everything from the Sahara Sunset Highlighter in Arabian Dreams ($19.99), a skin-perfecting shimmer with an anti-aging formula with porcelain flower for antioxidant protection; to the Sahara Sunset Eye Shadow Palette in Desert Escape (also $19.99) with multiple shades of nude, sand, shell pink and terracotta.
Sonia Kashuk also debuted a curated line of art-inspired tools, beauty accessories and cosmetic bags created in collaboration with makeup and visual artist Linda Mason; as well as extended her portfolio of collectibles with a variety of new prints. A Happi favorite is the tropical Fern small and large train case ($16.99-$24.99).
