L’Oréal Patents Direct Emulsion For Bleaching Hair

U.S. Patent No. 7,494,513 B2: L’Oréal Paris has patented a direct emulsion for bleaching hair. It iscomprised of an inert phase and an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution. The inert phase is comprised ofat least one nonoxygenated and nonperfluorinated liquid compound having a water-solubility at 25°C of less than 1%. The inert phase represents at least 20% by weight of the total weight of the direct emulsion.
