Colgate-Palmolive Co., New York, shareholders elected the company's slate of nominees as directors at Colgate's annual shareholder meeting.
Colgate's slate of nominees to the board consisted of chairman and chief executive Reuben Mark; Jill Conway, former president of Smith College; Ronald Ferguson, former chairman and chief executive officer of General Re Corp.; Carlos Gutierrez, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Kellogg Co.; Ellen Hancock, former chairman and chief executive of Exodus Communications Inc.; David Johnson, former chairman of Campbell Soup Co.; Richard Kogan, president and chief executive officer of Schering-Plough Corp.; Delano Lewis, former chief executive and president of National Public Radio and Howard Wentz, former chairman of Tambrands.
All of the nominees were directors since last year's annual meeting. Colgate also named PricewaterhouseCoopers as its auditor.
