Procter & Gamble and Marietta Corp., the No. 1 personal care amenity supplier worldwide, have continued their brand relationship by adding P&G's Herbal Essences to Marietta's hotel amenity brand portfolio.
The retail versions of Herbal Essences shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will be available in amenity sizes from Marietta in January of 2004. In addition, hotel guests will be able to enjoy Herbal Essences branded lotion, facial bar and bath soap.
In 1998, Marietta introduced P&G's Pantene brand to the hotel industry. Executives said this type of hotel sampling program provides key benefits, such as added exposure to target customers around the world, the ability to reach consumers with discretionary income and a positive in-room experience.
