Mark, a beauty business of Avon Products Inc., announced three new alliances. These are added tothe seven existing alliance partnerships in communications, entertainment, education and philanthropicareas.
The three new alliances-Ford Motors, Hairspray and the Varsity Spirit Corporation-further mark'sability to offer young women a unique earnings opportunity, a superior product line and lifestyleincentives, Avon executives said.
Mark customers and representatives nationwide will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes inOctober and win a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST by logging onto http://www.meetmark.com. Ford will alsoaward the top four regional mark sales representatives with a two-year lease on a 2005 Ford FocusZX% SE.
At the Varsity Spirit national sales meeting in January, mark will be designated as the officialfundraising platform for Varsity Spirit Corp. Cheerleading and Dance Team properties. Varsityrepresentatives will be educated on mark's fundraising initiative and a financial incentive will bedeveloped for reps to encourage the mark fundraising program through the spring.
In addition, last month mark offered customers and reps the chance to win one of 48 cast recordingsfrom the smash Broadway musical Hairspray.
