AOCS Calls for Nominations

The American Oil Chemists’ Society (AOCS) will issue its annual Samuel Rosen memorial award at the 94th AOCS meeting in Kansas City, MO May 4-7, 2003. The award honors a scientist or technologist who has made significant accomplishments in application of the principles of surfactant chemistry. Nominees must have worked in the industry at least three consecutive years prior to making the contribution. Nominations must be submitted by Nov. 1, 2002 and must include a letter of introduction with a description of the contribution, any additional supporting letters and a current vitae of the nominee.
