Croda Restructures Chemicals Operations

November 11, 2005

UNITED KINGDOM: Croda International Plc is restructuring its European chemicals operations, effective Jan. 1, 2003. The company will change from a divisional to a market-driven structure to improve focus and accelerate growth, executives said.

The new company, Croda Chemicals Europe Ltd., incorporates the UK chemical manufacturing sites and all UK and European mainland site operations.

“With this new structure we are in a better position to service our key markets in personal care, health care, home care and polymer additives,” said David Barraclough, president, Chemicals Europe. “It will also allow additional focus on new product development and innovation—two of our main strengths.”
