Emalab, UOP and Ballestra Install New Lab in the Middle East

DUBAI: Emalab announced that it signed contracts with UOP LLC and Ballestra for a new plant to be installed in Dubai. The new plant will include UOP’s Pacol/Define and PEP process and the UOP/Cepsa Detal process, company executives said.

The plant is expected to be operational in early 2004 and will primarily serve the GCC and East African detergent surfactant markets.
