Blairstown, NJ-based James Alexander Corp. has introduced a single-use dispensing system in the form of a plastic ampoule for contract packages. The ampoule is a one-piece molded polyethylene or polypropylene unit that re-mains intact and sealed until activated by the user. The package offers ease of use, packaging integrity, product freshness and safety, according to executives. The ampoules are available in a variety of sizes and styles ranging from dropper tips to swabs to custom dispensers. James Alexander also offers other services such as printing and secondary packaging.
“Unlike other packages on the market, there is no need for cutting, shearing or twisting to activate our unique plastic package,” said James Alexander president Francesca Fazzolari. “What’s more, there’s nothing that can crack or break, so there can be no dangerous glass debris, no messy spills or unnecessary exposure of contents.”
