Hispanics, Asians and African-Americans now represent 30% of the U.S. population and annual purchasing power in excess of $1 trillion, according to Multicultural Marketing Resources’ 2002-2003 The Source Book of Multicultural Experts. Asians have the highest purchasing power, while the Hispanic population is far exceeding population growth, increasing 57% since 1990. These three groups are the same size as the baby boomer population, experts reported. More info: (212) 242-3351; Fax: (212) 691-5969; Website: www.multicultural.com.
