Oil Control Skin Care a Hit For Students

Oil/shine control products are expected to be a big hit this fall, since sales grew 11% during the third quarter of 2001, according to NPD BeautyTrends, Port Washington, NY. Last fall, body cleansers and moisturizers grew 16 and 28%, respectively. The popular lip gloss category also rose 38% in the fiscal 2001 third quarter. NPD also predicts new fall fragrance launches to be popular this season, such as Jennifer Lopez’s first fragrance Glow and Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy T Girl.
