Revlon, Inc. and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) recently distributed $5 million in grants to breast and ovarian cancer research, awareness and prevention programs from funds raised through nearly 100,000 volunteers at this year’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women events in New York and Los Angeles. Various Revlon Run/Walk beneficiaries have received more than $27 million since 1993. In other Revlon news, the company has added the Custom Face powders and Skinlights Custom LipColors to its lineup. Executives said these are the first portable custom color kits at mass that utilize Revlon’s crystal-mineral complex to create several color combinations. In another move, actress Eva Mendes is a new member of the Revlon spokesperson team.
Revlon also entered a licensing agreement with Pacific World Corp. to sell artificial nails. Revlon now offers consumers a total nail regimen. The new nail line is slated to launch in January and has 23 SKUs, from glue-on nails to an acrylic fill kit.
