Revlon’s sales declined 2.4% to $308.2 million in the second quarter. The decline was due, in part, to an unfavorable currency translation in Latin America. In North America, net sales increased 0.4% to $217 million, while international net sales decreased 8.4% to $91.2 million. For the first half of 2002, sales dropped 5.8% to $583.6 million. Net losses rose from $42.7 million a year ago to $69.2 million.
