Watertown, CT-based Risdon-AMS plans to open a new 30,000 square foot plant in Reynosa, Mexico. The facility, located seven miles from McAllen, TX, will be used to assemble metal closures, lipsticks and mascara caps. The plant is expected to be fully operational by March 31, with 80 new employees.

“It further expands our global operations and makes us more cost-competitive as a worldwide supplier to the cosmetic industry,” said Stephen Pearl-man, Ridson-AMS president.
