Church and Dwight Co. reported a second quarter net income of $18.7 million. Sales for the second quarter increased 12.6% to $258.5 million as a result of Arrid antiperspirant and Lambert Kay pet care product lines acquired from Carter-Wallace in late 2001. For the six months, net income increased to $33.6 million and sales increased 12.9% to $515.3 million.
