Jack Stahl, chief executive officer and president, Revlon Inc. and Pete Born, vice president and associate publisher, Women’s Wear Daily, will be honored at the 2002 Skin Sense Award gala benefit to support the Skin Cancer Foundation. The event will take place Oct. 28 at the Pierre Hotel, New York City. Mr. Stahl and Mr. Born will each be honored with the award for exceptional achievement in the field of skin care. Proceeds from the event will support the Skin Cancer Foundation’s national public awareness campaign focusing on the prevention and early detection of skin cancer.

The Skin Sense award was created to recognize the pivotal role of select members of the cosmetics industry in skin care and sun protection. The benefit dinner will include more than 700 professionals in the cosmetics, fragrance, skin care, fashion, retail and publishing industries, committee organizers said.
