Germany-based Wella AG reported sales were up 14.3% in the third quarter. For the nine months, sales grew 10.3% to EUR2.5 billion. The hair care company's growth outlook is between 10-14% for 2002, due to the expectation of a strong business development in the fourth quarter. Wella also said that growth in 2002 of earnings before interest and taxes will outpace sales growth.
