The American Health and Beauty Aids In-stitute (AHBAI) awarded 49 Fred Luster Sr. Education Foundation scholarships to college-bound high school students across the country. Winners were selected based on academic achievement, school activities and extracurricular activities. Scholarships ranged from $250-500.
The Fred Luster Sr. Education Foundation was established in 1991 to honor the late Fred Luster Sr., a founding AHBAI board member and founder of Luster Products Inc., Chicago. To date, the foundation has awarded more than $260,000 in scholarships, executives said.
