The American Health and Beauty Aids In- stitute (AHBAI) held its 14th annual Proud Lady beauty show March 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
The event, themed “Hair, color and flair: your style,” featured glamour competitions, educational opportunities and a comprehensive trade show for professional hair stylists, barbers, nail technicians, cosmetology and barber students.
Competitions included “It’s all about men: conventional look,” “It’s all about men: urban progressive,” “Proud lady model search,” “Student barber: freeform,” “Student barber: traditional,” “Student evening style” and “World class fantasy.”
