Alcan: A new management team and structure were established after the acquisition of Pechiney. The Alcan Packaging division is headed by president and chief executive officer Christel Bories and chief operating officer Armin Weinhold. Several vice presidents were established: Keith Wilkins who is also director of business and finance; Jean-Christophe Deslarzes of human resources; Adrian Haughton of strategic planning and business development; John Hall of procurement; Bruno Laquet of information technology; Colette Chauviére of internal communications; Albert Klinkhammer of external communications; Olivier Muggli of R&D/technology in flexible packaging and James Burke of continuous development. Several presidents were also named: Michael Cronin of food packaging, Europe; Ilene Gordon of food packaging, Americas; Ralf Wunderlich of food packaging, Asia; Michael Rubenstein of global pharmaceutical packaging; François Luscan of global beauty packaging and Tom Carberry of global tobacco packaging.
