Amcol Acquires Certain Assets of Cardinal Health

Amcol International Corp. acquired the Polytrap business and Lafayette, LA manufacturing facility of Cardinal Health, formerly known as Enhanced Derm Technologies. Executives said the acquisition provides Amcol Health & Beauty Solutions with manufacturing capacity for a wide array of products for the personal care and cosmetic industries. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Our emphasis on innovation and quality serves as a cornerstone to building customer relationships,” said Kevin Cureton, managing director, Amcol Health & Beauty Solutions. “This acquisition further demonstrates our commitment to being the leading supplier of polymeric delivery systems to the personal care industry.”
