Avon Sets Schedule

Avon’s annual Walk for Breast Cancer series will take place April through September to raise awareness of the disease and help save lives, event organizers said. The walks are conveniently scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays. The event schedule is as follows: April 26-27, Washington, DC; May 3-4, Boston, MA; May 17-18, Cincinnati, OH; June 7-8, Chicago, IL; June 28 29, San Francisco, CA; July 12-13, Portland, OR; Sept. 6-7, Los Angeles, CA and Sept. 20-21, New York, NY.
Each participant is required to raise a minimum of $1,750 for the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer crusade. Walkers will be assigned a “walker buddy” in order to help with fundraising and training, event organizers said. More info: (877)-WALK-AVON; Web-site: www.avonfoundation.org.
