Cognis Receives Partner in

Cognis’ oleochemicals group received its 10th Partner in Quality award from S.C. Johnson at a ceremony in Racine, WI. Cognis was honored for its continued delivery of quality products, and is only the second chemical company to reach the 10-year level, according to company executives.
“Over the years, Cognis has gone to great lengths to specialize products to suit our needs, and has worked very hard to meet our demanding specificaitons,” commented John Rote, SC Johnson’s vice president-home cleaning business. “A key focus at Cognis is providing customized chemical components to help our customers bring their innovative ideas and concepts to market,” said Jeff Mahaffey, North American vice president of oleochemicals and base surfactants, Cognis.
Mr. Mahaffey added, “We are proud of the continued hard work from everyone who serves the SC Johnson account, and we are pleased to be recognized as a valuable partner to SC Johnson.”
