Palmolive Co. researchers in Canada
patented a multi-layered cleaning
tablet which contains lactic acid; an
alkali metal bicarbonate; bentonite
clay containing a blue, green or pink
dye; at least one anionic surfactant; a
microcrystalline methyl cellulose; an
alkali metal carbonate; a bleach-containing
compound; a precipitated silica;
a polyethylene glycol; an ethoxylated
nonionic surfactant; adipic acid and a
blue or green dye.
