Ecolab is Named Among

November 14, 2005

For the fourth consecutive year, Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, MN, was named to Business Ethics magazine’s list of 100 best corporate citizens in America. The company rose 25 spots from its position in the list, ranking 24th overall for this year. The magazine’s listing is published each spring.
Company executives said the list was drawn from the Russell 1000, which comprises the 1000 largest publicly-traded firms, and 150 companies from the socially-screened Domini index. The goal of the list is to recognize companies with practices superior to those of their peers, according to Business Ethics officers.
