Estée Lauder Companies: William Laud-er, grandson of the company’s founders, will be named chief executive officer on July 1. Mr. Lauder has been with the company since 1986 and was named chief operating officer in January 2003. He is also a member of Estée Lauder’s board of directors, The Fresh Air Fund and the 92nd Street Y and is a trustee of The Trinity School. Mr. Lauder will replace Fred Langhammer, who will retire as chief executive officer, end his service as a director and assume the newly created post of chairman of global affairs. Fabrice Weber was named president of the Aramis and designer fragrances division. He succeeds John Harp who left the company in December. Mr. Weber previously served as vice president and general manager, travel retailing worldwide. Olivier Bottrie will assume the role of senior vice president and general manager, travel retailing worldwide. He most recently served as regional vice president, field sales northeast.
