Eurotherm Changes Name

November 14, 2005

Billerica, MA-based web gauging and control system company Eurotherm Gaug-ing Systems changed its name to EGS Gauging Inc., effective Jan. 1. The company also sports a new logo and corporate identity program. The changes reflect the company’s transition to independent ownership and operation since Eurotherm was purchased from its former parent company, Eurotherm International Inc., and Invensys Co.
“We begin 2003 as the first full year of independence,” said John Sharood, company president, “so the timing is perfect to introduce our new name and logo. EGS Gauging says it all. It allows customers and prospects to continue to know who we are with no confusion, by linking our past with our future.”
