FiFi Awards

On June 9, the 31st annual FiFi Awards will be held at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York, NY. Entitled “Fragrance ‘n Art,” Fragrance Foundation executives said the theme celebrates the wonder of fragrance and its inherent ability to affect humanity on several different levels. The awards will be held during the 6th annual FiFi Week, which also includes the “Salute to the FiFi nominees” breakfast ceremony, the opening of the seventh Annette Green Museum exhibition, “Fragrance ‘n Art Deco” and the program, “Scent, an exhibition of original art inspired by fragrance.”
Additionally, four fragrance categories have been added to the FiFis to streamline the event: interior scent collection of the year, best national advertising campaign, best packaging of the year (one men’s and one women’s) and celebrity fragrance star of the year. Remaining categories for both men’s and women’s scents include luxe (more than 500 specialty and/or department store doors), mass appeal (drug and chain stores, private label, direct sell) and nouveau niche (less than 500 specialty and private label doors).
