Denmark-based researcher earned a
patent for a composition to effectively
treat halitosis containing a metal ion
and amino acid chelate, a saliva-inducing
agent to stimulate a controlled
release of the chelate in the mouth, a
flavoring agent to reduce and/or eliminate
any trace of an astringent taste
associated with the chelate and a pharmaceutically-
acceptable carrier.
