HBA South America

BRAZIL: HBA South America and FCE Pharma, which was held at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo in May, welcomed more than 16,000 attendees. This figure was up 22% from last year, according to organizer VNU Business Media do Brasil. During the HBA Packaging awards, Alfredo Rossi Neto, innovation manager of packaging from Natura, was awarded best professional of the year.
Click UP from Agua de Cheiro won best perfume design, and honorable mentions were given to O Boticário for the Tarsila and Arbo fragrances. Ox Premium was awarded best hygiene and hair beauty design, as well as O Boticário’s cologne cap from TPI Molplastic.
The 17th Brazilian Congress of Cosmetology was held concurrently and attended by 1,495 Latin American professionals. There were also a series of technical and educational conferences on cosmetics, fragrance and personal care that were organized through a partnership with the Brazilian Association of Cosmetology.
