ITALY: In-Cosmetics Paris attracted 4,168 visitors, according to event officials. Including re-visits, the visitor total reached 6,601, making it one of the best-attended In-Cosmetics shows ever, executives said. Visitors from 81 countries attended the event to source new products and learn about the latest trends and developments. A total of 44% came from France, 33% from other European countries, 9% from non-European countries, 5% from Asia, 3% from North America and 6% from the rest of the world.
In-Cosmetics’ new “Vision” feature, hosted by Promostyl, enabled visitors to experience the latest trends in cosmetics in a multi-sensory way. “Vision tells us something completely different and links to other parts of the exhibition,” commented Christine Saecker, global marketing manager, Roche. “It also reminds us of what cosmetics are all about.”
