Kligman to Receive

l Albert M. Kligman, Ph.D, will be the first recipient of a new Lifetime Achievement award: advancement of beauty through science. Dr. Kligman will receive the honor at the second annual industry awards dinner Sept. 30, the opening night of the 11th annual HBA and PCITX, which takes place in New York City.
Dr. Kligman, emeritus professor of dermatology, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, will be recognized for his contributions to the cosmetic industry and new product development, award presenters said. During the years Dr. Kligman’s research has made a significant impact on dermatology and skin care, and has influenced anti-aging advancements.
