Limited Brands and C.O. Bigelow Apothe- caries entered a strategic partnership in December intended to capitalize on the relative strengths of each company in the beauty industry. Ian J. Ginsberg, president and chief executive officer of C.O. Bigelow, will assist Limited Brands divisions such as Bath & Body Works in identifying emerging beauty brands for possible alliances and other relationships, executives said.
“This will be a partnership that leverages the strengths of each organization,” Mr. Ginsberg commented. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to combine the heritage and strength of the Bigelow brand and my own personal experience with the expertise and skill of Bath & Body Works and Limited Brands.”
