Lonza Inc., Fair Lawn, NJ, has formed Team Personal Care, a market-focused global team that concentrates on bringing products and services of value to the personal care and cosmetics market. Plans include additional preservative platforms, new specialty active materials and enhancements to traditional emulsifier and surfactant lines.
Team Personal Care members include Bill Hocker and Karen Terry, who will focus specifically on supporting and developing key personal care customers.
The R&D initiative will be headed by Jack Guth and Pat Lutz, who will develop new products and services for specialty actives and preservatives respectively, executives said.
Team Personal Care is supported globally by seasoned veterans from the company’s technical service, product management, regulatory, manufacturing and other disciplines.
