Patent No. 6,451,067 B1: L’Oréal S.A. researchers, Paris, France, patented a process for dyeing hair without oxidation using at least one compound chosen from aldehydes, ketones, quinones, diiminoisoindoline derivatives and 3-aminoisoindolone derivatives, and at least one heterocyclic cationic amine.
