National Starch Licenses Technology from Salvona

National Starch and Chemical Company, Bridgewater, NJ, reached an agreement with Salvona LLC, Dayton, NJ, to acquire exclusive rights to Salvona's encapsulation and delivery system technologies for household products and fabric care markets. The technologies will be transferred to and supported by National Starch’s targeted delivery development group, company executives said.

Alco Chemical, a global subsidiary of National Starch, will be responsible for the marketing and commercialization of the technologies. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
