Procter & Gamble: Heiner Guertler

Procter & Gamble: Heiner Guertler,
chairman of the management board of
Wella AG and managing director of
Cosmopolitan Cosmetics, will serve as
president on Procter & Gamble’s global
leadership council. He will represent
the Clairol and Wella Professional
Businesses and Cosmopolitan Cosmetics.
He will also remain chairman of the
Wella management board. Axel Dietz
resigned from his position as member
of Wella’s management board, consumer
division. Mr. Dietz took over as a
member of the management board
under the hair care marketing division
in March of 2000 and, following a reorganization
of Wella AG in the autumn
of 2000, as member of the management
board division consumer (retail business).
His former responsibilities will
be carried out provisionally by Alfred
Kramer, member of the board’s human
resources and new business division.
Four new supervisory Wella AG
board members were also recently
elected: Martin J. Nuechtern, Rainer
Henes, Dieter B. Judith and Dr.
Gerhard Wirth.
