Schick Intuition, billed as the first all-in-one wet shaver, allows women to shave in the shower using a cartridge with a triple-bladed razor and Skin Conditioning solid to soothe the skin. The solid contains a blend of aloe, cocoa butter and vitamin E, and lathers when slightly wet.
“Women are looking for an easy, hassle-free way to achieve a close, comfortable shave that leaves their skin soft, smooth and touchable,” said Lynne Macchiarulo, Schick Intuition brand manager.
Schick has licensed recording artist Jewel’s new single “Intuition” for use in its TV ad campaign, which will launch nationally on May 7. The shaver has rubber grips and buttons on the side to release the cartridge. Refills are sold in a water-resistant tub that can be kept in the shower. The razor handle, two cartridges, a travel cap and shower hanger cost $7.99. A three-count refill retails for $7.99 and a six-count for $14.99.
