FRANCE: Silab ranked No. 4 among the top 10,000 firms in France by the newspaper L’Enterprise in a survey carried out by Ernst & Young. The company then went on to win the 2002 INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle) national Trophy for Innovation.
Silab was awarded the trophy for the company’s inclusion of industrial property in its strategy for development of its innovations, a spokesperson said.
Silab’s innovation policy has led to four to six new products being launched annually, with each product sytematically patented and each trademark filed, company executives added.
