Symrise has also been busy with promotional activities. For Mercedes-Benz’s 10th annual fashion week in September, Symrise head perfumer Maurice Roucel created 7th, a sensual fruity chypre. The three accords represent the Symrise’s logo: red (lily), white (citrus, white magnolia, rose and green violet) and black (vanilla, amber, patchouli, musk and sandalwood).
The fragrance launch was accompanied by an exhibition by photographer Fabrizio Ferri illustrating the link between fashion, fragrance and art. Symrise sponsors scholarships for Mr. Ferri’s University of Image in
