The Dow Chemical Company: Andrew Liveris, business group president, performance chemicals, was appointed president and chief operating officer, responsible for Dow’s long-term strategy and organizational structure. He joined the company in 1976. Former president William Stavropoulos will continue as board chairman and chief executive officer. A new executive leadership team was also appointed: Mr. Stavropoulos, Mr. Liveris, executive vice president Arnold A. Allemang and executive vice president and chief financial officer Pedro Reinhard.
