The Yankee Candle Company: Craig W. Rydin

The Yankee Candle Company: Craig W. Rydin, the company’s chief executive officer, was named chairman. Mr. Rydin succeeds company founder Michael J. Kittredge, who resigned and has been named chairman emeritus. Mr. Kittredge will continue to actively participate in and provide advice and counsel to the board and management team. Michael F. Hines, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Dick’s Sporting Goods, also joins the board of directors and the audit committee.
